<p style="text-align:center;"><strong>Job Title: Field Service Technician</strong></p><p style="text-align:center;"><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p style="text-align:center;">Join a dynamic team of expert engineers, technicians, and industry professionals as a Field Service Technician. You will serve as the frontline technical expert supporting customers with installations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and modifications of automation equipment and control systems.<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical control systems at customer sites.</li><li>Install, test, and commission new equipment, including supervising placement, verifying hookups, and performing system adjustments.</li><li>Perform on-site upgrades and retrofits, including assembling kits, integrating components, debugging, and updating documentation.</li><li>Train customer personnel on system operation, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance.</li><li>Provide remote technical support and diagnostics from your home office.</li><li>Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to communicate field updates, redline prints, and support accurate documentation.</li><li>Build and maintain strong customer relationships while representing the company with professionalism.</li><li>Maintain detailed service records and ensure project completion within quoted margins.</li><li>Comply with all safety standards, company policies, and UL specifications.</li><li>Travel frequently, including overnight stays, based on project location and customer needs.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support overall customer and company success.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 7+ years of hands-on experience in control systems or field service.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, including experience with PLCs.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints and wiring diagrams.</li><li>Proficiency with diagnostic tools, basic hand and power tools, and panel shop equipment.</li><li>Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support customer interactions and internal collaboration.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly by car and air.</li><li>Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., move frequently, and work extended hours on-site in industrial environments.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with wiring/schematics/point to point wiring/terminations.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work Here?</strong><p>Embrace a career with a company that values quality and relationships.
