The ELECTRICAL MAINT MECH I performs maintenance, installation and repair work on electrical equipment, systems and components. This work is performed under general supervision and using the tools and techniques of electrical technology.

Hours:

Full time (40 hours)

Rotating Shift, Weekend work required

(16 hours Saturday, 16 hours Sunday, 1 8-hour fixed weekday shift)

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program which is approved/accepted by local or state government.
  • Journeyman Electrician Certificate
  • 4 years related work experience as obtained in an apprenticeship program under the supervision of a Master Electrician

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of electrical techniques, codes, procedures and materials.
  • Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards.
  • Performs work within reasonable lengths of time as measured against trade, industry or engineered standards.

Salary Range: Minimum 33.47 per hour - Maximum 38.84 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
